New variant releases are detected automatically through crowdsourced collection data on SnapComplete.

What are Marvel Snap variant rarity tiers?

Variants have several rarity tiers that determine their price. Rare variants cost 700 Gold, Super Rare costs 1,200 Gold, and higher Collector's Vault tiers scale up: Amazing at 1,400 Gold, Sensational at 2,000 Gold, and Exquisite at 2,500 Gold. Spotlight variants cost 3,500 Collector's Tokens, and Ultimate variants cost 5,000 Tokens. Some variants are only available through bundles, events, or season passes and may never appear in the Vault at their tier price. Sort by "Tier/Price" to browse from cheapest to most expensive, or by "# of Owners" to find the rarest variants among tracked players.

How does the Collector's Vault work for variants?

The Collector's Vault is a limited-time event that opens for a few days each season, bringing back bundle-exclusive variants that were previously unavailable. The Vault offers six returning variants at three price tiers: Amazing (1,400 Gold), Sensational (2,000 Gold), and Exquisite (2,500 Gold). It only shows variants for cards you already own, and only variants you do not have yet. SnapComplete tracks Vault availability so you can sort by "# in Current Vault" or "# in Previous Vault" to see which variants have been offered and plan your Gold spending. Use the source filter to browse only Vault-eligible variants versus bundle exclusives, album rewards, or event-only variants that may never rotate into the Vault.
