Marvel Snap Split Audit
The split audit page on SnapComplete shows 4+ years of community Infinity Split drop rates from 2,622,853 Infinity Splits across 4,215 synced SnapComplete users, broken into 12 time windows: the current snap season, past 1/2/3/6/9/12 seasons, the entire Character Mastery era, and the four distinct pre-Character-Mastery eras (Baseline, the Dark Times of August 2024, Splitsmas, and Baseline Return). For each window the page reports the rate of Ink, Gold, Krackle, and God-splits (Ink + Gold + Krackle on the same card) using the per-metric eligibility threshold that matches each era's mechanics. Premium members can flip a toggle to see their own rates inline beside the community rates on every window, with badges showing how lucky or unlucky they got from top 1% through bottom 1%. Data refreshes daily from real synced player data.
What Infinity Split rates do Marvel Snap players actually see?
Pre-Character-Mastery (before February 11, 2025), each cosmetic effect unlocked at a different split count: Ink at split 4+, Gold at split 5+, Krackle and God-splits at split 6+. The 19-month Baseline (December 2022 through July 2024) ran a flat ~25% Ink, ~23% Gold, ~22% Krackle, and ~10% God-split with no tuning. Character Mastery launched on February 11, 2025 and unified all four effects on the split-4+ threshold, plus added a 10% Gold-or-Ink finish + Krackle flare combo floor that rolls first; if it misses, a rarity-tiered roll fires. Current CM-era community rates: ~12% Ink, ~12% Gold, ~20% Krackle, ~12% God. The Krackle bump comes from the asymmetric combo (the finish side splits 5/5 between Gold and Ink, but the flare side is always Krackle).
What was the August 2024 split bug, and what is Splitsmas?
Starting August 20, 2024, all Infinity Split drop rates silently dropped about 30%: Ink to ~18%, Gold to ~17%, Krackle to ~17%, God-splits to ~6%. LaurenWhatevs of Fourth Location shared the discovery on October 5, 2024 in a 10-tweet thread, tracing the drop to the August 20 patch. Second Dinner acknowledged the regression on October 8, 2024 and traced it to foundational code updates for the upcoming Character Mastery system. As compensation, SD ran a nine-week buff event nicknamed Splitsmas (October 14 to December 15, 2024) that doubled the affected rates to roughly 35% each plus shipped every player a free Rainbow Cosmic border and an X-Men '97 Magneto variant. On December 16 the rates snapped back to the pre-bug Baseline (~25% Ink, ~24% Gold, ~24% Krackle, ~11% God) until Character Mastery launched.
How have Character Mastery rates changed since launch?
Three documented mid-season events have shifted CM-era rates. On February 20, 2025, Second Dinner cut odds on three finish/flare families (nicknamed the "vitamin D" patch from SD's announcement wording): Banana Finish and Flare halved, Rays cut to about one-fourth to one-fifth of their prior odds, and Embers to about one-third. On October 14, 2025, three combo pairs were removed from the Split table entirely: Banana finish + Banana flare, Water finish + Bubbles flare, and the asymmetric Snowflakes flare + Frosted Glass finish (only the Snowflakes flare was pulled; Frosted Glass stayed in). On December 16-18, 2025, Patch 48.x shipped an undocumented regression that re-leaked Water and Banana finishes back into the Split table for about three days; the flare-side gate held, and the issue was silently hotfixed by December 19 with no patch note acknowledgment.
