Marvel Snap Variant Completion Graph

The Variant Completion Graph measures your progress toward owning every variant in a tier of Marvel Snap. A dropdown in the tab strip switches between five tiers: Rare (RVC), Super Rare (SRVC), Spotlight (SVC), Ultimate (UVC), and the Collector's Vault (VVC). A progress pill shows how many variants you own out of the total released, with a completion percentage. A projection pill shows your projected completion date, based on how fast you acquire variants compared to how fast new ones release. The projected date is a premium feature. If you have already finished a tier, both pills show a trophy and "Complete!" status. Below the pills, a chart plots two lines over time: total variants released (gold) and total you own (blue), with dashed projections extending into the future. The point where the owned line catches the released line is your projected completion date, marked with a gold dot.

How does the completion projection work?

The projection compares two rates: how fast a tier's variants release and how fast you acquire them. The released line is projected from a recency-weighted average of the release pace, so a tier that has stopped releasing, like Spotlight after the move to Packs, holds flat instead of climbing and still shows a real completion date for the existing set. Your owned line is projected from your acquisition history, using a supply-ceiling method for near-complete tiers, an exponentially weighted gap trend for steady progress, or linear regression as a fallback. The final date comes from where the two projected lines cross on the chart. Projections cap at five years out, and a tier needs at least two of your acquisition dates before it can project.

What variant tiers can I track?

The dropdown covers four rarity tiers plus the Collector's Vault. Rare Variant Complete (RVC) is the classic milestone of owning every Rare variant; Super Rare (SRVC), Spotlight (SVC), and Ultimate (UVC) track the same goal for those rarities. Each tier counts only variants with a confirmed release date, so datamined or unreleased variants are excluded from both the total and the chart. A link below the chart takes you to the Variants page filtered to that tier, sorted by newest release date.

What counts as a Vault variant?

The Vault tier covers variants currently in the Collector's Vault plus future arrivals to it. Future arrivals are bundle and Conquest variants released in the past year, which enter the Vault at their one-year mark. Because both groups stay obtainable through the rotation, the Vault tier projects a real completion date as you collect them. The link below the chart for the Vault tier shows the newest future-Vault variants, the ones closest to entering.
