Marvel Snap Completion Timeline
The Completion Timeline projects when you will finish your Marvel Snap card collection based on your actual income and spending. It calculates two separate paths: Collectors Complete (CC), which covers Series 4 and Series 5 Collectors Packs, and Snap Complete, which also includes Seasonal Packs. Each path gets a status banner at the top of the page showing whether you can complete this season, how many future seasons it will take, or whether your income falls short. If your spending is sustainable, the banner shows an open-ended range. If you will eventually fall behind new releases, it shows the season when a deficit begins. Every number flows from the Balance, Income, and Bundles pages, so the timeline updates automatically as you adjust those inputs.
How does the timeline math work?
Below the banners, a Math Breakdown section walks through the calculation step by step. The Token Spend Allowance module shows three numbers: your starting budget from the Balance page (a one-time amount), your recurring income per season from the Income page, and token value from any bundles you have selected on the Bundles page. These combine into a monthly budget that feeds the season-by-season projection. The Collectors Complete breakdown shows the cost of buying every new Series 4 and Series 5 card through Collectors Packs each season. The Snap Complete breakdown adds Seasonal Packs on top of that. Pack costs factor in a goodie tier discount (Safe, Expected, or Lucky) that accounts for the credits and tokens you get back from opening packs. At the Safe tier, for example, Seasonal Packs cost 8% less and Collectors Packs cost 5% less than their listed price.
What does the sustainability check tell me?
Each completion path includes a Sustainability Check that compares your monthly token budget against the monthly maintenance cost of keeping up with new card releases. If your budget exceeds the cost, you are sustainable and can keep up indefinitely. If costs exceed your budget, the calculator shows your deficit per season and estimates how many seasons your savings will cover before running out. For partially sustainable players, it suggests a skip frequency, like buying one fewer Series 4 Pack every few seasons, to stay on track. You can expand each section to see the exact budget-minus-cost math and the per-card cost breakdown for Series 4 and Series 5 in both Collectors and Seasonal Packs.
What are Collectors Complete and Snap Complete?
Collectors Complete means you own every card available in Collectors Packs. In Marvel Snap, new Series 4 and Series 5 cards start in Seasonal Packs and eventually roll down into Collectors Packs. Collectors Complete only counts cards once they are in the cheaper Collectors pool, costing 2,000 tokens for Series 4 and 4,000 tokens for Series 5 at base price. Snap Complete goes further and includes buying cards while they are still in Seasonal Packs (2,500 tokens for Series 4, 5,000 tokens for Series 5). This costs more per card but gets you every new card on release. The timeline tracks both paths simultaneously so you can see the tradeoff between patience and speed.
