Draft Guide & Rewards

Draft is Marvel Snap's run-based Limited Time Game Mode. Instead of bringing a deck, you build one during the run: pick a Starter pack, add cards one at a time from sets of three, then play that deck until you reach 5 wins or 2 losses. Between matches you collect Augments, upgrades that attach to a single card and stay on it for the rest of the run. The matches themselves are standard Snap. Three locations, six turns, 1 Energy climbing to 6, no Cubes and no snapping. Next scheduled run: August 24, 2026.

How Draft Works

Every pick step offers three options. You draft a Starter pack and seven cards before your first game, then keep picking between matches. A finished deck holds 12.

Cards carry a rarity Snap does not otherwise use: Common, Rare, Epic and Legendary. Each step draws its three options from its own rarity mix.

Most cards also sit on a side of an archetype. An Enabler sets the archetype up and a Payoff cashes it in: in Destroy, the Enabler destroys your own cards and the Payoff rewards you for having destroyed them. Which side a card is on decides which pick steps can offer it, and a few sit on both.

Most steps between matches are encounters: a screen hands you one upgrade and lets you choose which of your cards it lands on.

Augments range from stat changes to rule breakers like Superstar, which starts the card in your opening hand. A card can hold two, including two copies of the same one.

A run ends at 5 wins or 2 losses, and a Respawn Token forgives one loss, once per run. Every game that reaches a result pays Bits, the event currency: 15 for a win or a tie, 8 for a loss. Conceding pays nothing. The location pool is trimmed, and the Featured and Hot locations are switched off.
