Sanctum Showdown is Marvel Snap's points-race LTGM. Instead of a single check at the end of the game, every location you are winning at the end of each turn pays points, and one location is the Sanctum, which pays the most. The first player to the point target wins. Match points fill the reward track, which pays Charms to spend in the Relic Shop on variants, cards, and Portal Pulls. How Sanctum Showdown Works

Sanctum Showdown swaps Snap's normal win 2 of 3 locations rules for a points-to-16 format on the standard 3-location board. On turns 1 and 2, one random lane becomes the Sanctum and pays 1 point to whoever wins it. On turn 3 and beyond, the Sanctum pays 4 points per turn while the other two lanes pay 1 each. The Sanctum can move to an unrevealed location, so lane priority shifts fast.

Snapping works differently. Starting on turn 3, each player can snap once per turn. A snap adds +1 to the Sanctum's point value for that turn only, so if both players snap on the same turn, the Sanctum can pay 6 points. The first side to 16 total points wins, which can happen as early as turn 4.

Some runs use a variant ruleset. Variant runs are marked in the run dropdown, and picking one shows its rules beside that run's Event Pass and Shop.

Entry costs one Scroll, refunded on a win. You start with a batch of Scrolls and regenerate more on a timer, and Second Dinner sets those amounts per run, so check the in-game Scroll counter for the run you are playing. Every match pays Charms regardless of outcome, and Charms spend in the Relic Shop. The Shop table on this page lists each run's stock.
