DUPE SPLITS
Second Dinner's Split Re-Roll update added a way to re-roll a split's finish and flare. It also shipped a bug: a re-roll can hand you a finish and flare combo you already owned on that card, which the game's duplicate-protection should make impossible. This page checks your own collection for those duplicate splits. Sync your collection on SnapComplete, and the checker reads your split history, finds any combo that landed twice on the same card, and pre-writes a Second Dinner support ticket you can copy and send. Second Dinner is reportedly compensating players hit by this bug.
What counts as a duplicate split?
A split is the finish and flare combo a card rolls when you upgrade it past Infinity. Since the April 2024 Custom Card update, duplicate-protection is per card: you cannot legitimately roll the same finish and flare combo on a card more than once, even across different art variants. So when the same combo shows up twice on one card after the Split Re-Roll update, that is the bug, not normal luck. The checker only flags combos that repeat on the same card with both rolls in the per-card era, so a normal split history never gets falsely flagged.
How do I check and claim compensation?
Sync your collection, from this page or anywhere on SnapComplete, and the checker reads your synced split history. Each duplicate shows the card, the finish, the flare, and the dates the combo was rolled, in UTC. If any turn up, SnapComplete builds a ready-to-send ticket with your Snap ID and the affected splits already filled in, so all you add is your Marvel Snap account email. Syncing also turns on free match tracking, so you get your win rates and deck stats out of the same step.
