Marvel Snap LTGMs
Limited Time Game Modes rotate into Marvel Snap every couple of weeks with new rules, reward tracks, and cosmetic shops. Second Dinner grew LTGM cadence from 2 modes in 2024 to 6 modes in 2025, and each one rewrites core rules: Grand Arena drops you into Sakaar with 2 starting energy, Deadpool's Diner swaps Cubes for Bubs, Sanctum Showdown races to 16 points instead of ending on turn 6.
What is a Limited Time Game Mode?
A Limited Time Game Mode (LTGM) is a time-boxed event mode in Marvel Snap that runs in its own queue, separate from Ranked and Conquest. Each LTGM replaces Snap's base rules with its own twist. Grand Arena hands you one of 8 Champions with a unique Skill card in your opening hand. High Voltage: Overdrive stretches to 4 turns with 8 Charged cards shuffled into your deck at minus-1 cost and plus-1 power. Deadpool's Diner trades Cubes for Bubs and uses automatic Snaps on turns 4 and 5 to force escalation.
Rules change, decks change with them. Cards that never see Ranked play become tier-one in Team Clash, and every mode ships a banned list that shuts down problematic interactions.
Every LTGM ships its own cosmetic track and in-mode shop. A Free and Premium pass run in parallel (Premium is 800 Gold on current-cadence modes), paying out variants, avatars, emotes, cardbacks, titles, and credits. The Event Shop stays open for 48 hours after the queue closes so nobody misses out on a spend-down, then the mode's unique cosmetics lock until the next run. SnapComplete surfaces the live schedule, the most-played decks per mode, and the variants tied to each event.
