Sanctum Showdown Decks & Guide
Sanctum Showdown is Marvel Snap's first points-race LTGM. Instead of ending on turn 6, the game keeps running until one side hits 16 points. Every location you win at end of turn pays points, and one lane is marked as the Sanctum and pays 4 points from turn 3 onward. Spend earned points as Charms in the Sanctum Shop on variants, cards, and Portal Pulls. SnapComplete tracks every run. 5 Sanctum Showdown events have run since the mode launched. Next scheduled run: May 14, 2026.
How Sanctum Showdown Works
Sanctum Showdown swaps Snap's 6-turn cube race for a points-to-16 format on the standard 3-location board. On turns 1 and 2, one random lane becomes the Sanctum and pays 1 point to whoever wins it. On turn 3 and beyond, the Sanctum pays 4 points per turn while the other two lanes pay 1 each. The Sanctum can move to an unrevealed location, so lane priority shifts fast.
Snapping works differently. Starting on turn 3, each player can snap once per turn. A snap adds +1 to the Sanctum's point value for that turn only, so if both players snap on the same turn, the Sanctum can pay 6 points. The first side to 16 total points wins, which can happen as early as turn 4.
Entry costs one Scroll, refunded on a win. Current runs give you 6 starting Scrolls and 4 more every 8 hours; if you run out, you can buy a Scroll for 20 Gold. Every match pays Charms regardless of outcome, and those Charms spend in the Sanctum Shop on variants, emotes, borders, Portal Pull (3 new cards), and a separate offer of up to 4 random unowned Series 4 or Series 5 base cards. The Premium Event Pass is 800 Gold.
