Grand Arena Showdown Guide & Rewards
Grand Arena Showdown is a limited-time special event that mashes up Grand Arena and Sanctum Showdown: pick a Champion, build a deck around them, and score points with Sanctum Scoring instead of racing for Cubes. The event runs its own reward track with Free and Premium passes. SnapComplete tracks every run. 1 Grand Arena Showdown event has run since the mode launched.
How Grand Arena Showdown Works
Grand Arena Showdown is, in Second Dinner's words, "Grand Arena meets Sanctum Showdown". You pick one of the event Champions and build a deck around them, the way Grand Arena works, but matches use Sanctum Scoring instead of the standard 6-turn Cube race.
Sanctum Scoring works exactly like Sanctum Showdown. On turns 1 and 2, one random lane becomes the Sanctum and pays 1 point to whoever wins it. From turn 3 on, the Sanctum pays 4 points per turn while the other two lanes pay 1 each, and the Sanctum can move to an unrevealed location, so lane priority shifts fast. You are racing points off the Sanctum, not a single turn-6 power check.
The reward track pays out event currency along the way and features a new Series 4 card obtainable through the event, alongside variants and other cosmetics. SnapComplete lists the exact reward stock once the event is live.
